The story.

I'm a Latin-American full-stack engineer with twelve-plus years in the trade, most of them spent quietly making complicated systems behave a little better.

My career started in outsourcing — PHP, CodeIgniter, SenchaJS — building an ERP that quietly powered a chunk of Latin America. Then a banking support system in Java + PostgreSQL, where I learned that the boring stuff (business rules, edge cases, talking to the support team) is usually where the real product lives.

From there: telecom and realtime communications, building SDKs in TypeScript that had to run anywhere; then a long stretch dragging legacy systems into the present with React, Node, Mongo, and eventually Next and Qwik. Docker showed up somewhere in the middle. The reflex never goes away — understand the system before you start moving things around.

These days I'm independent. I ship Domus, write here roughly once a month, and have a social-commerce idea about to leave the sketchbook. If a project sounds thoughtful and the team is small, I'd love to hear about it.

// timeline

A dozen years, paraphrased.

A working chronology of the systems I've helped build, broken, and put back together.

2023 — now

Independent · Domus & beyond

Shipping Domus, sketching a new social-commerce idea, and writing more. SSR-first stacks (Qwik, Next), Turso for data, and a real soft spot for design systems.

Legacy systems → modern stacks

Years of pulling tired codebases into the present. React mostly, a little Angular, full-stack with Node / Express / Mongo, and Docker along for the ride.

VoIP · Telecom · Realtime

Cross-platform SDKs in TypeScript, NGINX, Spring Batch, Jenkins pipelines and Gitflow at scale. Juggled multiple teams and shipped under real-world constraints.

Foundations. PHP / CodeIgniter and SenchaJS on a LatAm ERP, then a banking support system in Java with PostgreSQL, Tomcat, and Dojo. The years where everything clicked.
